Kicking for a Cause: TMA Center’s Annual Kick-A-Thon

Each year, students, families, and friends of The Martial Arts Center come together for our annual Kick-A-Thon—a fun and meaningful tradition that combines martial arts with giving back to our community.

Students put their training to work by completing kicks while raising funds and awareness for a selected charitable organization or community cause. Friends and family can support participating students through donations, helping turn every kick into an opportunity to make a difference.

Martial Arts That Make an Impact

At TMA Center, martial arts training is about more than developing physical skills. We believe the values practiced in the dojo—including discipline, perseverance, respect, and service to others—should extend into our community.

The annual Kick-A-Thon gives our students an opportunity to put those values into action. It’s also a chance for the entire TMA Center community to come together, have fun, challenge themselves, and support an organization doing important work.

How the Kick-A-Thon Works

Leading up to the event, students collect donations from family, friends, and other supporters. Then, on Kick-A-Thon day, participants come together at TMA Center to complete their kicks and celebrate what they’ve accomplished as a team.

Students of all ages and experience levels can participate, making the Kick-A-Thon a true community event for the TMA Center family.

Supporting Our Community, One Kick at a Time

Over the years, the TMA Center Kick-A-Thon has helped support deserving causes while teaching our students an important lesson: the skills and values they develop through martial arts can be used to positively impact the lives of others.

We are grateful to every student, family member, friend, and supporter who helps make this annual tradition possible.
